The VMWare Tools version 11.2.5 release is causing the following time out error when converting to PDF:
WebGrabberEngineClient.ConvertToPDF => This request operation sent to
net.pipe://localhost/WebGrabber/IWebGrabberService/NPEP did not receive a reply within the
configured timeout (00:09:58). The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a
longer timeout. This may be because the service is still processing the operation or because the
service was unable to send a reply message. Please consider increasing the operation timeout (by
casting the channel/proxy to IContextChannel and setting the OperationTimeout property) and
ensure that the service is able to connect to the client.
Symptoms of this issue include the HTML to PDF process successfully producing an output PDF but the conversion process itself does not complete causing the time out seen in the above response. The converter process can be seen in the Windows Task Manager and must be exited manually.
The specific cause of the time out is unknown at this time but may be corrected by reverting to an earlier version of VMWare Tools.
