How to create ZUGFeRD electronic invoices

How to produce a ZUGFeRD Compliant PDF/A invoice with ActivePDF DocConverter:

1. Open Configuration Manager
2. Navigate to ActivePDF > DocConverter > Converter Profiles
   • Select the "PDF Converter" converter
   • Navigate to the "Settings" tab
   • Under "PDF To PDFA Options", enable "Create ZUGFeRD Compliant PDFs" by checking the check box
   • Click Save
3. Navigate to ActivePDF > DocConverter > Watch Folder Profiles
   • Navigate to the "Conversion Settings" tab
   • Under "PDF", expand the "Conversion Type" drop down menu and select "Convert To PDF/A"
   • Click Save
4. Drop a PDF with XML attachment into Watch Folder
5. Output PDFA is now ready to be validated
